Overview
Since your website’s files will
likely be in multiple different directories,
it is important to know how to navigate
to the directory that you wish to be in.
You can only access the files in the directory
that you are currently in so, changing
directories is necessary to complete many
tasks.
Steps
1 To access the FILE MANAGER, click on
the  icon
above the words File Manager on
the main screen of your cPanel interface.
2 To move to a specific directory (folder),
click on the icon next to the directory’s
name
3 To go back up to the previous directory
you were in, click on Up one level
4 To go back to your home directory click
on the ‘/’ before the name
of the current folder
Troubleshooting
If you cannot figure out where you are,
check the top of the File Manager to see
your location. It will be next to (Current
Folder).
