What is this BNI thing?

no comment Posted by

As more people read this blog, I am asked, “What is BNI?”

Business Networking International (BNI) is the best way to market your business. Period. For 25 years BNI has helped business people the world over improve their business networking skills and master the art of business by referral.

BNI is part club and part high performance selling organization. It is composed of chapters all over the world that hold a 90 minute meeting once a week. This meeting follows a specific agenda. This agenda is the same in over 51 countries. They all follow this agenda because it works.

BNI is better organized than the Mob and more fun than Chuck E Cheese and less expensive than a weekend at Disneyland. It teaches public speaking, how to market your business, how to build visibility, how to improve self confidence, and how to develop a sales force of 20 – 40 members.

I personally know people who have made thousands of dollars doing business in their BNI chapter after only a few months of membership. It really is that good. You will have to work at it, but it’s fun work with fun people.

You can learn more about BNI here. If you would like to see how business gets done in person, come visit a chapter meeting. Just  contact me.

IT with Alex Liebeskind

no comment Posted by

Today I met with Alex Liebeskind. He’s the kind of guy who conveys a sense of calm excitement. Maybe it’s his age. He’s mid 20′s and that’s when you feel like you’re at your best and can take on the world.

Alex does many things, but his main focus is IT. IT is the vauge accronym used to describe people who fix PC’s, networks, and keep out bad guys. For what he does, he works cheap.

Alex has some nice clients, but he’s ready for more. I like his approach to network support: assess, diagnose, and then prescribe. Many people who wear the IT hat, are a bit hasty at first blush and leave loose ends. Alex doesn’t play that way. He takes the extra time to check the little things that can become big things.

If your PC or net is making you fret, give Alex a call.   (520) 405-4355

Another Great Meeting

no comment Posted by

Today’s BNI meeting had so many great guests. It was kind of insane. El Parador’s staff had to add a table. Yeah!

This was a high energy meeting with great referrals and testimonials.

One pleasant surprise was the welcome addition of my wife Sami. She is a Mary Kay Consultant and very good with customers. I was impressed with her 60 second commercial. Nice job hun :)

We also had 3 people present representing health and wellness solutions. Let’s hope one of them sees the value of joining and gets that application in.

We had an electrician present. That’s great. We need him. We have a very strong group of professionals who work in/on your home. He would be a great addition.

A very nice woman named Morella came with some very fancy handbags. Sadly my wife bought one. My kids ate ramen tonight. Just kidding, they love ramen.

Overall it was a great meeting. If you want to know more, please contact me. Seeing is believing.

Meet Jason W.

no comment Posted by

Today I mwt with Jason W. From Intelligent Office. What a cool idea. They set you up with an instant brick and mortor office that you can rent by the hour. From what I’ve seen, he and Amayea (from Cybertary) offer very complimentry services.

Jason has lived here for about 3 years. He lived in San Diego before that. Over the years he’s explored a number of businesses. He was a turn-around specialist for pluming companies quite awhile. He’s got a lot of experience in business that he brings to his clients.

Jason seems to have a clear vision of where he wants to be. He is currently managing Good News magazine. You might want to contact him if you want to advertise to his audience.

It looks like he will be joining our BNI chapter, so please congratulate him, when you see him.
