Today’s BNI meeting had so many great guests. It was kind of insane. El Parador’s staff had to add a table. Yeah!
This was a high energy meeting with great referrals and testimonials.
One pleasant surprise was the welcome addition of my wife Sami. She is a Mary Kay Consultant and very good with customers. I was impressed with her 60 second commercial. Nice job hun
We also had 3 people present representing health and wellness solutions. Let’s hope one of them sees the value of joining and gets that application in.
We had an electrician present. That’s great. We need him. We have a very strong group of professionals who work in/on your home. He would be a great addition.
A very nice woman named Morella came with some very fancy handbags. Sadly my wife bought one. My kids ate ramen tonight. Just kidding, they love ramen.
Overall it was a great meeting. If you want to know more, please contact me. Seeing is believing.

Today I mwt with Jason W. From Intelligent Office. What a cool idea. They set you up with an instant brick and mortor office that you can rent by the hour. From what I’ve seen, he and Amayea (from Cybertary) offer very complimentry services.
Jason has lived here for about 3 years. He lived in San Diego before that. Over the years he’s explored a number of businesses. He was a turn-around specialist for pluming companies quite awhile. He’s got a lot of experience in business that he brings to his clients.
Jason seems to have a clear vision of where he wants to be. He is currently managing Good News magazine. You might want to contact him if you want to advertise to his audience.
It looks like he will be joining our BNI chapter, so please congratulate him, when you see him.

Today I met with Jason Robinson from Northwestern Mutual. He’s a second generation Tucson native who’s worked his way through economics, banking to financial planning.
Like me he has two young kids that keep him on his toes. Based the photos he carries, clearly he is a proud daddy.
Jason is a musical fellow. He plays a mini tuba called the euphonium. It turns out that he met his wife in their church orchestra.
When he finds time, classic cars and golfing compete for his affection. He seems to be very enthusiastic about both. You should ask to see his ‘other car.’
When we discussed his business focus, he clearly chose to offer complete solutions. This means that he will get to know you and then recommend products that benefit you and your family – from life insurance to aggressive income.
Jason really listens. He also asks provocative questions to better understand your needs. I suggest you call and meet him.

On Friday’s I attend my weekly BNI meeting. It’s an amazingly productive way to speed up client acquisition.
This week we had a very full room. We had some great guests: Alex, a computer guy; Roxane, sells ad space at bus stops; Linda, runs an organic bakery; Jason, offers virtual office services. I’m looking forward to meeting each of them.
The main thrust of our meeting this week was to recruit people that we can refer business to. Right now we have 10 people who are looking for personal banker. If you know a banker who wants a lot of business now, we would like to meet that person.
We are also looking for a Chiropractor, a Florist, a Landscaper, a Heating and Cooling Professional, an Alarm Systems Installer, a Hairdresser or Barber and a auto mechanic.
If you would like to know more about any of this post, contact me.

When you are deciding how to spend you business dollars, how are you making your decision?
What you should be doing is asking questions and making notes. “How did you hear about us?” This tells you which of your ads or web sites are working for you.
Once upon a time, everyone said, “yellow pages.” Now, I don’t know more than one or two people who still rely on that medium. If you deal primarily with younger customers – downsizing your Yellow Page ad will save some serious green.
If you get lots of business by referral, how can you reward people for their support? For many people, the reward is to continue the quality of service that made them appreciate you in the past. Some sort of carrot is still a nice way to say, ‘Thank you.”
If you are using multiple ads, do you know which ads bring in the most money? Make sure that your entire customer service team asks, “How did you hear about us?”
One method that we can help with is to setup different web pages for different promotions. This will help you track which promotions drove the most traffic to your web site.
Remember: a business without advertising is like smiling at someone pretty in a dark room. You know what your doing, but nobody else does.
